Parking at Istanbul Airport

The large parking area of Istanbul International Airport can cause difficulty in determining where to park for arrivals and departures.

Thanks to our Istanbul Airport parking guide, you can use the parking lot in the most efficient way.

There are 6 parking floors in the parking lot, between P1-P6, and a floor R for rental cars.

There are also parking areas in 5 colors for each floor. Therefore, when you leave your car, you need to remember not only your floor and parking number, but also which color parking area you parked in.

Colors on Car Park Floors

When you arrive at the Istanbul Airport parking lot, there are entrances to the parking areas in the following colors: Turquoise, Green, Orange, Red, Blue.

Entrances from the Turquoise and Green sides are close to the domestic check-in counters, the other colors are close to the international check-in counters.

Istanbul Airport Car Parking Floors

P1 Floor

This is the floor where the parking entrance is located.

P2 Floor

This is the floor where the parking exit is located.

P3 Floor

This is the floor where the domestic and international arrival terminals are located.

P4 Floor

Terminal entrance and exit floors can be reached by elevator.

P5 Floor

It is possible to reach the departure terminal entrance with the moving walkway. The moving walkway from the orange parking lot leads to the priority entrance of Turkish Airlines. You can enter the terminal from entrance gate number 7 using the moving walkway from the blue parking area.

P6 Floor

This is the floor where the open passage to the departure terminal is located.

Terminal Gates

There are terminal gates 1-7 on the terminal departure floor. Not all of these entrances are open all the time. You can enter the terminal from gates 3 and 7. There is a blue parking area directly opposite gate number 7.

There are terminal gates 8-14 on the terminal arrivals floor. While doors 9 and 13 are used for internal exit purposes, you can use door 10 to enter the terminal from the arrivals floor for welcoming purposes.

There is access to the metro from exit door 13.

The parking area opposite the Turkish Airlines priority entrance (terminal gate number 5) and exits is the orange car park.

Parking Payment Points

There are automatic parking payment devices on the P2, P3, P4, P5 and P6 floors. You can pay for parking with a credit card on these devices.

There is also a payment point at the car park exit on the P2 floor where you can pay by cash or card.
