Free Internet and WiFi Access

You can access the internet or use WiFi through various methods at Istanbul International Airport.

It is possible to access the internet with the SIM card and mobile account you will purchase from telephone operators such as Türk Telekom, Turkcell and Vodafone.

You can also use Türk Telekom's 1-hour free WiFi without buying a new line or any account.

Türk Telekom Free WiFi / Internet

It is possible to use free internet for up to 1 hour at Istanbul Airport.

If your phone is open to international roaming, you can log in via SMS, or if it is closed, by getting a password from the Turk Telekom WiFi kiosks at the airport, you can log in according to the following steps:

Login via SMS

  • Connect to the “İstanbulAirportTurkTelekomFree” network from your device's WiFi settings.
  • If the portal does not open automatically, type “http://igairport.turktelekomwifi.com” into the browser.
  • Select the flag for the country code from the “Login via SMS” option and enter your phone number.
  • Confirm the terms of use and click “Get SMS Code”.
  • Enter the code sent via SMS to your mobile phone. Now you can use your free internet for 1 hour.

Login with kiosk password (if you cannot receive SMS)

  • Scan your passport and get your password at Turk Telekom WiFi kiosks at Istanbul Airport.
  • Connect to the “İstanbulAirportTurkTelekomFree” network from your device's WiFi settings.
  • If the portal does not open automatically, type “http://igairport.turktelekomwifi.com” into the browser.
  • Enter your passport number and the password you received from the kiosk from the “Login with Kiosk Password” option.
  • Confirm the terms of use and click “Sign In”. Now you can use your free internet for 1 hour.

To continue using WiFi after your 1 hour free right, you can purchase the internet WiFi package that suits your needs via the WiFi portal or from the kiosks at Istanbul Airport.
